Nostalgia is a beautiful thing

I’m back on tumblr, yay! Will I post again next week?

… Probably not.

I would like to point out that nostalgia is a great thing. Sometimes, anyway. But when it is awesome, and you remember all the awesome things that happened in the past to make you happy, or feel good/awesome or whatever, whether it’s people, music or the general things you done in life, it certainly is a beautiful thing.

Currently listening to The Shamen. They’re a British house/dance/electro/rock band from the 90s (actually the 80s and 90s, but they were immensely popular in the early 90s). I started listening to them when I was like… 3 years old. Got their VHS tape (remember those, kids?) of the Boss Drum album, which was all music videos. Boss Drum. One of the greatest albums ever.

Listening to them = good times. I remember me and my sister used to watch the video all the time, and we’d sing (well, she would, I would hum it because at 3, I didn’t exactly talk/sing very well!). It was definitely a high point in my toddler/little guy life :)

I wonder if The Shamen are still about, actually. I hope they are. Anyway.

Stay classy, The Shamen.

Just realized…

Despite using tumblr for a good while (a year I believe) I still get extremely confused by it then I give up and leave it for like, a week.

Whatever.

I’ll make a new post soon… next week.

Anyone that’s planning on coming to Scotland’s MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 LAUNCH PARTY or getting MVC3 but doesn’t really now how it works should watch this.

It goes through the basics of the system. Anyone who’s coming to the party but  doesn’t really know how it works can also just ask someone (Me, for instance) when you get there how to play and what does what. We’ll be happy to show you :)

Scotland doesn’t really have, what I would like to call, a ‘fighting game scene’. I hope this takes off so fighting game tournaments can happen in Scotland, Street Fighter would probably be the most popular choice.
